IDENTIFYING BALASUBRAMANIAM’S HANDLERS
A FOOT NOTE: UNRAVELLING THE LIES, THE FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE AFFECTING LAWYERS AMRICK, MANJIT DHILLON AND SIVARASA
The Malaysia Kini video of a press conference held by 3 lawyers 2 of whom Balasubramaniam (Private Investigator) identified by name in a telephone conversation with our link man in Malaysia appears as in Youtube uploaded on 4 July 2008.
The content of that video appears to corroborate what Balasubramaniam said about these lawyers to the writer of a more recent article on Balasubramaniam in this blog.
This video further and alarmingly supports a widely held belief that Balasubramaniam was set up by elements of the Malaysian Bar, not least of which are 2 of the 3 lawyers seen in this video clip courtesy of Malaysia Kini.
Amongst the 3 are opposition MP and lawyer Sivarasa Rasiah and Amrick Singh Siddhu. Sitting beside Sivarasa to his left is Amrick Singh Siddhu’s own lawyer Manjit Singh Dhillon:
“AMRICK WAS NOT CONCERNED WITH THE TRUTH OR OTHERWISE OF BALASUBRAMANIAM’S STATUTORY DECLARATION”: Manjit Singh Dhillon
The following is a transcript of the final minutes of that press conference recorded by Malaysia Kini uploaded 4 July 2008 .
In that press conference Amrick Singh Siddhu’s legal representative, lawyer Manjit Singh Dhillon takes to the microphone to defend Amrick Singh Siddhu by making the following statements appearing below in italics. (Notably none of the lawyers present rebutted any of the underlined statement below as issued by Manjit Singh Dhillon:)
Fatally lawyer Sivarasa Rasiah’s contribution to the conference implicates him as well in what has always been suspected as being a politically motivated conspiracy by members of the Malaysian Bar acting on behalf of Anwar Ibrahim and the Pakatan:
Manjit Singh Dhillon commenting on Balasubramaniam’s affidavit and Amrick’s role in it says thus:
“As far as Amrick is concerned he is (sic) discharging his duties as lawyer. He was basically helping to prepare and format the document (in context the Balasubramaniam Statutory Declaration). He was not concerned with the truth or otherwise of the document. The document was presented…information on the document was coming from his client and he merely put it in the necessary language of the Statutory Declaration. That declaration was then sworn voluntarily before a commissioner of oaths. Mr. Amrick Singh’s position was that it was a voluntary document……..”
Excerpt of Manjit Singh Dhillon’s statement at a press conference recorded by Malaysia Kini uploaded on Youtube 4 July 2008. Present at the press conference was Amrick Singh Siddhu and Sivarasa Rasiah two individuals named by Balasubramaniam as being the sentient minds behind his affidavit 1.
