EUROPEANS OR ARABS
Although widely accepted by anthropologists though not conceded by the people of the Iberian peninsula (Spain, Portugal as well as Sicily), a majority of the peoples of this region have a distinct Arab Semitic blood in them. Yet the Spaniards, Southern Italians, French and Portuguese consider any reference to their Arab (North African) blood as an insult to them.
In Italy the Sicilians are often disparagingly and in pejorative terms referred to as ‘Africans’.
COMING APART AT THE SEAMS
Yesterday 1 October 2017 marked a tectonic shift in the divisive politics of Europe. Something the Europeans for centuries had imposed by force on their former colonies to the detriment of great nations in their former colonies, the politics of divide and rule, is now re-emerging as a menace and a curse to their imperial ambitions. Nothing it seems can keep that elusive dream of a united Europe afloat any longer.
If Brexit was bad, then the revival of separatism in Spain driven by millions of disgruntled underclasses in the outlying regions seeking independence from Madrid – of which the seemingly dormant Basque separatists were once the biggest threat- should give food for thought and send shivers down the weak spines of Europe’s imperialists.
Just when we thought the dust had settled in Corsica (France) and in the Basque region of Spain, the people of Catalonia Spain ran a referendum to decide the fate and future of their region of Catalonia within Spain.
An overwhelming 90% of those who were eligible and cast their votes in this referendum decided to secede from Spain. Tonite they are expected to unilaterally declare their independence from the Kingdom of Spain. The central government of Spain acted in a brutal way often reserved for Arabs and Muslims by kicking, baton charging and assaulting unarmed civilians for simply exercising their democratic right to vote to leave Spain.
DIVISIONS IN SPAIN-FRANCE- BRITAIN AND ITALY
Not long after the vote had closed, a Basque separatist caller telephoned the office of the French news agency (AFP) in London to announce that the Basque people will now revive their own political objectives for full independence from Spain. The battle for re drawing the lines of Europe has resumed it seems.
In 2015 the French government spokesman at a news conference following a ‘terrorist’ attack in Paris coyly and embarrassingly avoided a question from a newsman who asked if the in attacks Paris that day could possibly have been the work of Corsican separatists acting under the cover of the anti Arab anti Muslim hysteria that had gripped France.
The anger at the question was manifested swiftly when the Al Jeezera sponsored independent documentary maker who posed the question was deported and barred from re-entering France. It appears he stumbled on something the French wanted kept under wraps.
As to how many Muslims were executed in extra juridical killings by French police for being ‘Islamic terror suspects’ to cover up a wider malaise within Europe is unclear.
The Iberian peninsula is not alone in its divisions.
France, apart from its Corsican problem have the people of Brittany to contend with. Their nationalism lies dormant, fearfully postponed under the bogey of the threat of Islamic fundamentalism against the Galls in France and in all of Europe.
There are the Greeks of Albania who have long sought their independence from the tyranny of the government of Tirana Albania, Germans in Poland and the Russians in the Ukraine. Each part of Europe as a matter of fact is sizzling from the heat of an under current of separatist ambitions ready to pour onto the surface like Catalonia, Basque and Corsica are today.
A BRITISH EUROPEAN COLONIAL DISEASE-NO ONE IS IMMUNE
Britain of course the chief architect of the division of great nations like India (now India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka), Africa and the middle east is not immune to the growing scourge of separatism.
Scottish nationalism has not always been benign and kilted like a Sean Connery grin. There was a period in the 1970’s when bombs and shootings were the order of the day. The Scots were convinced to lay down their radical approach after the Irish problem became a bloody mess following a massacre of scores of people during a peaceful march murdered by British paramilitary in 1970.
It appears that the chickens have truly come home to roost in Europe with the realization by common folk that the problems they have with the Arabs and Muslims is a concoction of western governments and their American allies like the Hillary Clinton George Soros funded movements calling themselves the ‘springs’ ‘pro- democracy movements’ and ‘the anti -corruption alliances’.
The veneer of respectability and legitimacy of these groups began to peel off after the defeat of Hillary Clinton and here ultra right wing assembly of monied tyrants and liars. Their Trojans spread throughout the former colonies of the Europeans and Americans alike with names like Bersih, the Malaysian Bar and C4.
EXPORTING SEPARATISM-NOW FOR A DOMESTIC MARKET
Interestingly and ironically so many of these European states now under threat of being torn apart by their own ethnic violence, civil wars and suppression of minorities have been most vocal in international forums demanding ‘special rights’ and autonomy for religious based states like Kashmir in a secular country. It is they who have been most vocal in demanding cleaner, freer and fairer elections in places like Malaysia, Indonesia and China when they aren’t prepared to allow the same in their own countries. For their part they continue to harass, kill and assault their own constituents who demand what are basic rights along democratic and constitutional lines.
It is time for Europe and the US and countries like Australia who act as their surrogates in the Asia Pacific region to take stock of their own political misfortunes instead of spreading separatism and their distorted ideas of democracy throughout the world.
As the Catalonian’s celebrate what the rest of Spain denounces, two Canadians and two French women have been killed in their respective countries in what some writers and commentators call a new front in the next 100 years war.
RETRIBUTION-NO END TILL THERE IS JUSTICE
This appears to be retribution for what George Bush, Tony Blair, Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz (Anwar Ibrahim’s mentor), Douglas Feith, the Queen of England (through her parliament and government) John Howard and Henry Kissinger unleashed over an otherwise dormant and deeply religious people divided by despotic rulers and now united in their radical brand of Islam.
That body of people now seeking retribution and restitution for the carnage and murderous campaigns against them by a Christian west are the mainly Arab and North African Muslims who together with their brethren worldwide constitute a fifth of humanity.

Matters are coming to a head in Europe, what direction it will take and what will come out of it we do not know. Let’s just stay tuned and see.

Sir, The good lady who had a set of two room suite in my friend’s building and a legal practice of sorts, made good after being ennobled and lauded in the Antipodes. What more does one want ? Once upon a time,she had risen on the backs of the many well-fed and clothed in fresh yellow T-shirts roaming the hot and humid streets of ye olde KL munching KFCs drumsticks. Would you like risking this rigmarole again facing rubber bullets and hard as nails truncheons in far away Barcelona ? Besides, have you noticed Malaysia has built up a comfortable and urban elite class of NGOs, a new and profitable industry which grew out of the inefficiency of our Malaysian Politics by feeding on it like a blood sucking parasite ! A gift of the Gab is the only essential ingredient for success !

What was mentioned in your interesting and learned essay began a long time ago. Well beyond the Clintons, George Soros, the founding of Israel or even the Ottoman Empire. Strange to say, what you described is the tip of the ice-berg of the Rise and Fall of the Western Civilization and the Rise of the Asian Civilizations which will eventually be followed by the Middle East. History has shown us, a civilization cannot be put down or suppressed for any length of time e.g. India and China. However the importance of your informative essay actually stretches back to the early beginnings of Christianity and Islam. The significant sign posts in history were the fall of Constantinopol followed by the rise of the Ottoman Empire and the Fall of the Muslims in Spain in the 15th Century. Many Muslims remained in Christian Spain and were all forced to be Christians. Demographically, the Moors lived in Southern Spain along the line which passes through Madrid towards the sea. Many Spaniards today have distinct Moorish physical features. It is alleged there are crypto Muslims amongst the Catholic Spaniards today. With the rise of Western Industrial Revolution in the 19th Century the die was cast for the attainment of absolute power and influence which led to all sorts of empire creating and battles between powers.. In the case of Great Britain, she made the mistake of grabbing too many African countries. A sad aspect of Western colonisation was the creation of territorial borders dividing the tribes. The power grabbing of the West created the First World War after which the Ottoman Empire collapsed and it was divided up between the British and the French. Their absolute power prevailed. But at this juncture, the realization by a few that power comes from the barrel of the gun which its production could provide employment and moved the economy. The Second World War was waiting for the starter’s gun. .However, the Western Powers could only move their citizens to fight not for Liberty or Freedom but for the social goodies of an easier life after the War. This brought on the winds of Socialism all over post-War Western Europe. Italy and other Mediterranean countries shifted left and nearly turned communist. Hence, with strong American support, the roots of EU were born to counter the advance of communism through the creation of a solid political and socio-economic base without regard to the historical aspects of its disparate members. To add to the mess, Israel was founded in 1949 to the astonishment of those concerned who were hapless to do anything. Most of the moves were already agreed at the top level since 1921 with the Balfour Declaration. We now have all the essential ingredients for the big insoluble mess we have today in the EU, Britain and the United States with its origins arising from the Middle East which have been thoroughly chewed upon by all conquerors who passed through it. What the West did not foresee was the backlash of migrants into the West without respite. These unfortunate human beings will add to the cost of all the social benefits promised to the citizens by the Western powers after the Second World War. Not only that with the sudden implosion of Communism and the appearance of the BRICS in direct competition with the West, the falling revenues were beginning to tell heavily on the social services in their entirety. Negative news on the migrants in the West will be with us every day. In 1982, the History Fellow of Jesus College, Cambridge told me that the Fall of Rome was not because of the Barbarians but the huge numbers of foreigners within it. History is the finest arbiter of the Truth. The writing is on the proverbial wall for the West. President Trump could see what the Democrats could not. However, his hands are tied by Israel.

Europe is holding hands together whilst she is skating on the thin ice of trillions of US Dollars and Euros arising from the multiple quantitative easings since 2008. This is the new economics of the West in which all the once garrulous economists have gone into hiding having been afflicted with the ‘no sign of recovery’ disease in the longest known recession ever known to Humankind ! No economist seems to be able to postulate a path out of this recessionary morass which maybe of their making and the politicians who did not see, hear or speak evil pre-2008. To this day, no one has owned up to this recessionary mess, a Sword of Damocles overhanging every country’s head. Even the Fed is taking a soft approach on the increase of the interest rate which is expected to reach 2 1/2 per cent by 2018 or later. The World markets keep on booming with the United States increasing its assets by nearly USDR 3 Trillion over 11 months ! Some pundits have warned of a new crisis arising from this huge monetary bubble which kept countries and commodities afloat without a visible conclusion. Will the forthcoming unwinding of this World Class Financial mess break the EU and all which she represents ? Will the super economy and the World’s biggest, the United States stand to gain with her paper super dollar ? Or will the next monumental crisis brings out the best of India and China both unique civilisations of note ? These are indeed interesting times we all live in ! Brilliant !

Further to my comments, it is interesting to note that the Jewish Diaspora happened over two thousand years ago. Ironically, how many of us realise, we have the Arab Diaspora which is now on-going ? Will these Arab migrants become financiers, media moguls, academicians, musicians, chess players, actors and actresses, textile manufacturers etc within another 2,000 years of their Diaspora ? Of course, the migrant Arabs will be in those positions as mentioned without any doubt ! By then, maybe the migrant Arabs will invent something and demand the return of their Holy Land with the support of China and India ? It was the powerful and all-mighty Romans who displaced the Jews. On the same token, it was the powerful and all-mighty United States which did a similar act in the last 70 years to the migrant Arabs. It’s a small World ! History is the finest arbiter of the Truth. Believe it or not !
