Lacklustre Anwar buys Port Dickson Seat

In the midst of all the furor over corruption and promises of clean government, it’s become known that Anwar Ibrahim’s seat in Port Dickson was purchased from Danyal Balagopal Abdullah the incumbent in that PKR held seat.

How did Anwar manage to ‘buy’ out Danyal Balagopal Abdullah for the privilege of standing in his seat to ease his way into parliament?

Well, two of Anwar’s most loyal and prominent backers, one a Malay billionaire and Anwar defender, paid off Danyal Balagopal Abdullah and brokered the trade off with him.

The trade-off involved a rather large pay off in money and in kind in Danyal Balagopal Abdullah’s favour.

Nothing went directly into Danyal Balagopal Abdullah’s account or into the accounts of anyone close to him locally. This was a more sophisticated arrangement lest Danyal, the businessman, Anwar and the PKR be charged for similar offences under the same ordnance Datuk Seri Najib is being charged under. What’s been done in this trade is corruption under both the common law and statute.

Danyal Balagopal Abdullah, a man who switched sides with God (judging from his last name) for privilege and opportunity, switched sides once more from one who swore allegiance to the constitution to one who sold out that oath of office for an 8 figure sum of money.

Anwar and the PKR it appears have not learned their lessons about winning people’s trust and being honest if not at least honourable in politics.

Dr. Mahathir Mohamad is in the know and is aware of every step of the horse flesh trading that went on before Danyal Balagopal Abdullah succumbed to the Anwar trap. For Anwar and the PKR to believe otherwise is sheer political suicide.

Money does not speak. It screams obscenities especially at the truth and at honour.

Of course if Danyal Balagopal Abdullah or anyone offended by this statement either by implication of what it says about them or expressly can always respond in the appropriate way.

The PKR leaks like a sieve and the leaks are from the very top.

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.
